If you’ve met him, you probably remember the hat.
It’s become something of a signature, a reflection of his personality: confident, approachable, and unmistakably his own. But long before the hats became part of his identity, his roots were firmly planted in small-town values.
Born and raised in Mariposa, he grew up in a community where reputation mattered, hard work wasn’t optional, and doing right by people wasn’t a slogan, it was expected. Those early lessons followed him to Fresno State, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Marketing and later completed his MBA. Business made sense to him. Strategy made sense to him. But most of all, relationships made sense to him.
In 2000, he joined New York Life with a clear conviction: people deserve guidance that helps them do what’s right, right for themselves, right for their families, and right for their future. He wanted to build a career where integrity wasn’t negotiable and long-term relationships mattered more than transactions. New York Life provided that platform.

More than two decades later, that commitment hasn’t changed. In December of 2025, it expanded.
After earning his MBA from Fresno State, his son Jackson joined the practice, apprenticing under him with a shared belief in the importance of legacy.
Having grown up watching his father meet with families, walk them through difficult decisions, and stand by them through life’s milestones, Jackson saw firsthand what long-term commitment looks like. Joining the practice was not simply a career move, it was a continuation of something that began long before a formal title.
Together, they now combine decades of experience with next-generation perspective. While the foundation remains rooted in relationships and integrity, the practice has evolved to include modern financial tools, technology-driven efficiencies, and forward-looking strategies that serve today’s families with even greater precision.
For clients, this partnership offers something rare: continuity. The stability of experience. The energy of the next generation. And a shared commitment to doing what’s right, not just for today, but for decades to come.
As a proud resident of the Fresno/Clovis community for over 30 years, he has a vested interest in seeing the families around him succeed. These aren’t just clients, they’re neighbors, friends, fellow parents, and fellow grandparents. The same hopes he has for his own three children and two grandchildren are the hopes he sees in the families he serves: stability, opportunity, protection, and legacy.

His approach is relational and energetic. He brings clarity to complex conversations. He listens first. And he believes a financial strategy isn’t about products; it’s about people and the lives they’re building.
Being a father reshaped the way he thinks about responsibility. Becoming a grandfather deepened it. Planning isn’t theoretical when you’re thinking about the next generation, it’s personal.
That’s why he continues to do this work.
As a New York Life agent, he sincerely believes that most people want to do what’s right for themselves, for their families, and for their communities. His role is to make that easier. To provide the resources, education, and long-term partnership necessary to turn good intentions into lasting security.
The hat may set him apart at first glance.
But it’s his commitment to doing right by people that truly defines him.
